On Friday, October 22nd, Mumford & Sons, Gracie Abrams, The National, and Remi Wolf took the stage at a rally in Madison, Wisconsin to show their support for Democratic nominee Kamala Harris.
The event, which was held at the Alliant Energy Center, drew a large crowd of enthusiastic supporters who were eager to see the musical performances and hear from Harris herself.
Gracie Abrams, a rising singer-songwriter, kicked off the evening with a soulful performance of her songs “I Miss You, I’m Sorry” and “21.” She also took the opportunity to encourage the audience to vote and make their voices heard in the upcoming election.
Next up was British folk-rock band Mumford & Sons, who delivered a powerful set that included their hits “I Will Wait” and “The Cave.” Lead singer Marcus Mumford also took a moment to address the crowd, urging them to vote for Harris and Joe Biden in the presidential election.
The National, an indie rock band from Ohio, followed with a set that included their politically charged songs “Mr. November” and “Fake Empire.” Lead singer Matt Berninger also took a moment to speak about the importance of this election and the impact it will have on the future of the country.
Closing out the night was rising pop artist Remi Wolf, who brought her infectious energy to the stage with performances of her songs “Photo ID” and “Hello Hello Hello.” She also took the opportunity to remind the audience to vote and make their voices heard.
Throughout the evening, Harris made appearances on stage, thanking the performers and speaking about the importance of this election. She also took the opportunity to address key issues such as healthcare, racial justice, and climate change.
