"Prince Royce's long-awaited album 'Llamada Pérdida' dives into the pain of heartbreak and delivers a fresh take on bachata music."

Prince Royce is back with his highly anticipated album, Llamada Pérdida, after a four-year hiatus. The singer, known for his smooth vocals and catchy bachata beats, is diving into the theme of heartbreak on this new project.

In an interview with Rolling Stone, Prince Royce opened up about his personal experiences with pain and healing, and how they influenced his music.

The 32-year-old artist explained that the album’s title, which translates to “lost call,” represents the feeling of longing and missing someone who is no longer in your life. He shared that the inspiration for the album came from a difficult breakup he went through, which left him feeling lost and heartbroken.

“I think we’ve all been there, where we’ve had that one person who we can’t seem to let go of, even though they’re no longer in our lives,” Prince Royce said. “That’s what this album is about – that feeling of a lost connection and trying to move on from it.”

Llamada Pérdida features 12 tracks, all written and produced by Prince Royce himself. The album’s sound is a mix of traditional bachata with modern elements, giving it a fresh and updated feel. The singer described it as “bachata in 4K,” a nod to the high-definition quality of the music.

“I wanted to bring bachata to a new level, both sonically and emotionally,” Prince Royce shared. “I wanted to create something that felt familiar but also had a new and modern twist to it.”

The album’s lead single, “Carita de Inocente,” was released in 2020 and quickly became a hit, reaching the top spot on Billboard’s Tropical Airplay chart. The song’s music video, which features Prince Royce in a vulnerable and emotional state, has over 100 million views on YouTube.

Prince Royce also collaborated with fellow Latin artists on the album, including Natti Natasha, DaniLeigh, and Myke Towers. He explained that these collaborations were a way to bring different perspectives and voices to the project, making it more diverse and relatable.

“I wanted to work with artists who I admire and who bring something unique to the table,” he said. “Their voices added a new layer to the album and helped me tell my story in a different way.”

In addition to the album’s release, Prince Royce is also gearing up for a world tour in 2022, where he will perform songs from Llamada Pérdida as well as his previous hits. He expressed his excitement to connect with fans again after a long break from touring due to the pandemic.

“I can’t wait to perform these songs live and see how they resonate with the audience,” he said. “Music has a way of bringing people together, and I hope this album can do that for those who are going through a similar experience.”

Llamada Pérdida is a testament to Prince Royce’s growth as an artist and his ability to channel his personal experiences into his music. With its heartfelt lyrics and captivating sound, the album is sure to be a hit among fans and newcomers alike.
