On Tuesday night’s episode of The Tonight Show, Olivia Rodrigo joined host Jimmy Fallon for a hilarious game of “What’s Behind Me?” The game involves the two taking turns guessing what is behind them based on clues given by the other person.
Rodrigo, who recently released her debut album SOUR, was a great sport as she tried to guess what was behind Fallon. The first clue was “a group of guys,” to which Rodrigo correctly guessed the Backstreet Boys. But the real fun began when Fallon revealed that the Backstreet Boys were having their driver’s license photos taken by none other than McDonald’s mascot, Grimace.
The audience erupted in laughter as Fallon and Rodrigo tried to make sense of the bizarre scenario. “I don’t know why they would be taking their driver’s license photos at McDonald’s, but I love it,” Rodrigo joked.
The game continued with Fallon guessing what was behind Rodrigo, with clues like “a famous mouse” and “a magical kingdom.” After some hilarious guesses, Fallon finally revealed that it was none other than Mickey Mouse at Disneyland.
Rodrigo, who is a huge Disney fan, was ecstatic at the reveal and even sang a snippet of “Part of Your World” from The Little Mermaid. “I’m so happy, I love Disney so much,” she exclaimed.
The game ended with both Fallon and Rodrigo guessing the final clue, “a famous bridge,” which turned out to be the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco. The two ended the segment with a fun duet of Rodrigo’s hit song “drivers license.”
Rodrigo’s appearance on The Tonight Show comes after the massive success of her debut album, which has broken multiple records and topped charts worldwide. The 18-year-old singer has quickly become a household name and her talent and charm were on full display during her appearance on the show.
Fans of Rodrigo can catch her on her upcoming tour, which kicks off in 2022. But for now, we can all enjoy her infectious energy and humor on The Tonight Show.
