Country superstar Miranda Lambert is using her platform to make a difference in the lives of animals. The Grammy-winning singer has announced that she will be headlining a benefit concert, “Music for Mutts,” on October 5th in Nashville to celebrate the 15th anniversary of her MuttNation Foundation.
Lambert, who is known for her love of animals, founded MuttNation Foundation in 2009 with her mother, Bev Lambert. The organization’s mission is to promote the adoption of shelter pets and to provide resources and support to animal shelters across the country.
The “Music for Mutts” concert will feature a star-studded lineup, with all proceeds going towards the foundation’s efforts to save and improve the lives of animals. Lambert will be joined by fellow country artists, including Jon Pardi, Brothers Osborne, and Ashley McBryde.
In a statement, Lambert expressed her excitement for the event, saying, “I am thrilled to be able to combine my love of music with my passion for helping animals. MuttNation Foundation has been a huge part of my life for the past 15 years, and I am grateful for the opportunity to celebrate its impact with this concert.”
The concert will also feature a silent auction, with items donated by Lambert and other celebrities, with all proceeds going towards the foundation’s initiatives. Fans can also make donations directly to the foundation through the event’s website.
MuttNation Foundation has made a significant impact in the animal welfare community, with over 2,000 animals being adopted through their efforts and over $4 million raised for animal shelters and rescue organizations.
Lambert’s dedication to animal welfare has been evident throughout her career. In addition to founding MuttNation Foundation, she has also opened her own animal shelter, Redemption Ranch, in her hometown of Tishomingo, Oklahoma.
The “Music for Mutts” concert is just one of the many ways Lambert continues to use her platform to make a positive impact. With her love for animals and her passion for music, this event is sure to be a success and make a difference in the lives of many animals in need.
