Hip-hop legends Common and Pete Rock are teaming up once again to bring their highly anticipated collaborative album, ‘Auditorium, Vol. 1’, to auditoriums across the country this fall.
The duo, who first worked together on Common’s 1994 album ‘Resurrection’, have announced a series of shows to celebrate the release of their new LP. The tour will kick off on September 24th in Atlanta, Georgia and will make stops in major cities such as New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles before wrapping up on October 30th in Seattle, Washington.
‘Auditorium, Vol. 1’ marks the first full-length project from Common and Pete Rock since their 2011 EP ‘The Dreamer/The Believer’. The album is said to be a fusion of Common’s socially conscious lyrics and Pete Rock’s signature soulful production.
