After wrapping up their highly successful “Ode to You” world tour in 2020, K-pop group SEVENTEEN is back with new music and exciting plans for the future. The 13-member group, consisting of members Jun, Wonwoo, The 8, and Seungkwan, recently sat down with Rolling Stone to discuss their latest single “Maestro,” their virtual concert “17 Is Right Here,” and what’s next for the group.
“Maestro” is a powerful and energetic track that showcases SEVENTEEN’s signature sound and choreography. The members explain that the song is about taking control of one’s own life and destiny, and the music video features stunning visuals and intricate dance moves that perfectly complement the message of the song.
The group also recently held their first virtual concert, “17 Is Right Here,” which was a huge success with over 1.2 million viewers from 120 countries. The concert not only featured performances of their hit songs, but also gave fans a glimpse into the members’ personal lives and behind-the-scenes moments.
When asked about their experience with the virtual concert, Jun shared, “It was a new challenge for us, but we were able to connect with our fans in a different way. We were able to show them a different side of us and it was a very meaningful experience.”
SEVENTEEN also revealed that they have been working on new music and are planning to release a new album later this year. The members expressed their excitement for their upcoming projects and promised to continue delivering high-quality music and performances for their fans.
“We are constantly trying to improve and show new sides of ourselves through our music. We want to continue to grow and evolve as artists,” Wonwoo stated.
As for their future plans, the group hopes to hold another world tour once the pandemic situation improves. They also expressed their desire to collaborate with other artists and explore different genres of music.
“We are always open to new challenges and collaborations. We want to continue to surprise our fans and show them different sides of us,” Seungkwan shared.
SEVENTEEN’s passion and dedication to their craft have earned them a dedicated fanbase and global recognition. With their latest release “Maestro” and upcoming projects, the group is set to continue their success and solidify their position as one of the top K-pop groups in the industry.
