In a surprising turn of events, two more defendants in Young Thug’s RICO case have taken a plea deal, leaving the rapper with only two co-defendants on trial.

The trial, which began earlier this month, has been closely watched by fans and the music industry alike. Young Thug, whose real name is Jeffery Lamar Williams, was arrested in 2017 along with 11 other members of his record label, YSL (Young Stoner Life). The charges included racketeering, conspiracy, and gun possession.

Initially, all 12 defendants pleaded not guilty and were set to go to trial together. However, in the past week, four of the co-defendants have changed their pleas to guilty, including Young Thug’s longtime friend and collaborator, PeeWee Roscoe.

Now, two more defendants, London Holmes and Kevin Jones, have also taken plea deals. Holmes pleaded guilty to racketeering and conspiracy charges, while Jones pleaded guilty to gun possession. Both men are expected to testify against Young Thug and the remaining co-defendants.

The plea deals come as a surprise to many, as the prosecution’s case seemed to be unraveling. Last week, a key witness, Jimmy Winfrey, recanted his previous testimony, claiming he was coerced by police to implicate Young Thug and the other defendants.

Despite the setbacks, the prosecution is confident in their case against Young Thug and the remaining co-defendants. They allege that the rapper and his associates were involved in a criminal enterprise that included drug trafficking, robbery, and violence.

Young Thug’s defense team maintains his innocence and argues that he was not involved in any criminal activities. They also point to the fact that he was not present during the alleged incidents and that there is no physical evidence linking him to the crimes.

The trial is expected to continue in the coming weeks, with the remaining co-defendants, Young Thug, and YSL CEO Pierre “Pee” Thomas, still facing charges. If convicted, they could face up to life in prison.

In the meantime, Young Thug’s fans and supporters are anxiously awaiting the outcome of the trial and hoping for a favorable outcome for the rapper.
