Title: Tim Lambesis Addresses Departure of Bandmates from As I Lay Dying
After the recent announcement of the departure of three of his bandmates from As I Lay Dying, frontman Tim Lambesis has released a statement addressing the situation.
In the statement, Lambesis expressed his support for the decision made by his former bandmates and stated that he believes it is best for everyone involved.
“I fully support each of the guys’ decisions to leave and believe that, at this time, it is the best course of action for all of us,” Lambesis said.
The bandmates who have departed from As I Lay Dying are guitarist Phil Sgrosso, drummer Jordan Mancino, and bassist Josh Gilbert. The three musicians released a joint statement earlier this week, citing personal and creative differences as the reason for their departure.
Lambesis also addressed the future of As I Lay Dying, stating that he plans to continue making music under the band’s name.
“I am committed to moving forward with As I Lay Dying and am excited to see where this new chapter takes us,” he said.
The remaining members of As I Lay Dying, Lambesis and guitarist Nick Hipa, have been working on new music and plan to release it in the near future.
Despite the changes within the band, Lambesis assured fans that As I Lay Dying will continue to deliver the same powerful and meaningful music that they are known for.
“We are grateful for the support of our fans and look forward to sharing our new music with them,” Lambesis said.
As I Lay Dying formed in 2000 and has released seven studio albums, with Lambesis as the only constant member. The band gained mainstream success with their 2007 album An Ocean Between Us, which debuted at number eight on the Billboard 200 chart.
Fans of As I Lay Dying can expect to hear more updates from Lambesis and the remaining members in the coming months as they continue to move forward with the band.
