Nu-disco glow, first love nostalgia, and global artistry collide in a bold 2025 remix
As 2025 dawns, few tracks feel more fitting for New Year’s Eve revelry and summer celebrations than “10 Minutes ReAmped,” the vibrant new remix from Gold Coast-based producer and vocalist Mia Muze. Originally a deeply personal tale of first love, this bold reinterpretation takes the soul of the 2019 fan favorite and spins it into a dazzling nu-disco pop anthem—ready to light up dance floors and playlists worldwide.
Crafted in collaboration with Elemental as part of the trip-hop fusion trio Mia Muze and Elemental, the track reinvents the minimalism and emotional pull of the original with lush, danceable energy. Where the first version leaned into melancholic storytelling, this reamped release brings sass, sparkle, and unapologetic groove.
A Story Reimagined, A Legacy Reinvented
“10 Minutes” was born from a real-life moment—Mia’s unexpected reconnection with her first love at the very spot where their story once began. That meeting inspired not only the track but the soulful vulnerability that has since defined Mia’s musical path. In 2019, the original version climbed to #3 on the TOWB Music Charts for Breakup Songs and has continued to resonate globally. Now, in ReAmped form, the song gets a second life with a fresh pulse and genre-bending elegance.
The remix also arrives with stunning visual support. The cover artwork, created by Iranian-born Brisbane-based digital portrait artist Elnaz Ashouri, fuses emotional depth with bold, colorful abstraction. Part of a Logan City community collaboration, Ashouri’s piece celebrates cultural fusion and independent creativity—a perfect match for Mia’s global and genre-crossing artistry.
From Concept to Club: The Sonic Journey
The original “10 Minutes” was a global affair. Korean producer Yoon infused it with dramatic melancholy, while Japanese-Australian producer Tats layered in heartbeat-driven rhythms recorded at the Gold Coast Conservatorium Studios. The result? A unique sonic blend that was atmospheric and intimate.
In this 2025 remix, those roots are honored while the track ascends into nu-disco territory. Mia’s evocative vocals float atop shimmering synths, punchy bass, and infectious percussion. The result is pure dancefloor magnetism, without losing sight of the vulnerability at the track’s core.
A Year of Expansion and Exploration
“10 Minutes ReAmped” is more than a remix—it’s a continuation of Mia Muze’s creative evolution. With 17 releases under her belt and four singles already out in 2024, including the ambient Four Pebbles and the cinematic Storm Reborn, Mia continues to explore music’s emotional and conceptual edges. Her recent duet Could Maybe featuring J. Gani showcased her ability to balance tender storytelling with bold production, while Kookie Cutter demonstrated a flair for sonic experimentation.
