In the moonlit wilds of New Zealand’s festival landscape, a new name begins to echo through the fields and across the stages: DEHUSSLAR MUSIC. Emerging from Auckland with passion in his pulse and starlight in his soul, this artist captures the euphoria and raw emotion of 3AM rave crowds and transforms it into something entirely his own. On May 9th, 2025, DEHUSSLAR MUSIC unveiled his debut single “NGA MIHI”, a love letter to the very scene that shaped him.
The title, meaning “thank you” in Te Reo Māori, is more than a phrase—it’s a declaration of gratitude to the festival culture, to those who came and danced, to the ones still moving under the strobes, and to the ones who’ve drifted into memory. It’s the first glimpse into his debut EP “PREZ@MINEZ”, designed unapologetically for the massive—crafted for dusk-till-dawn sound systems, sweaty reunions, and barefoot sunrises.
Built by someone who lives it rather than simply performs it, NGA MIHI was born lakeside, deep in the New Zealand countryside. Imagine the sliding doors open at 2AM, beats bouncing off water, vision filled with imagined festival stages. That’s the scene where DEHUSSLAR found his muse. Influences like Shapeshifter, Trinity Roots, and Salmonella Dub ripple through the track’s veins, but its heart is unmistakably his own—modern, melodic, and massive.
He didn’t even touch a DAW until 2024. Now he’s wiring MIDI pads, sculpting chords, and conjuring a sound as immersive as it is infectious. Each track is a step toward a summer stage, each drop a piece of a dream becoming real.
“I was meant to do this,” he says. “Everything happens for a reason. I’m just discovering what that reason is.”
In a world craving authentic energy, DEHUSSLAR MUSIC delivers it by the decibel. And with NGA MIHI, he doesn’t just say thank you—he invites us to dance with him into what’s next.
